How we make mavrenio.shop usable for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

We want everyone to be able to browse and buy on mavrenio.shop. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast; links are underlined in body text.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus and a “skip to content” link.
  • Images of products have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • The “open the coat” slider works with arrow keys, and on touch screens there are Outside and Inside buttons instead of dragging.
  • The rain on the home page window is decoration only: nothing you need is hidden behind it. With “reduce motion” switched on in your device settings, rain, tickers and videos stop.
  • Videos have no sound and can be paused.
  • Prices and sizes are real text, not images.

Known limitations

  • Some checkout and account screens are provided by WooCommerce and our payment providers; we style them but cannot change all of their markup.
